SDAIW Meeting Muster: September 2, 2009
American Indian Warriors Association meets the first Wednesday of the
month at 6:30 pm.
No
AIWA meeting the last two months. This is short review and substitute
as well as a look at some of our August 2009 activities.
The Pala pow wow committee provided accommodations for the gourd dance
and color guard AIWA members. It was a comfortable environment. There
is a much-improved arena and the cool breezes kept the days very comfortable.
We thank AIWA member William Buchanans wife Lourdes for these
pictures. She is a professional photographer.
A very nice day for a good time. It is always special to be invited
onto Tribal land. We need a good turn out for the September AIWA meeting.
