BRING YOUR
FEBRUARY COPY OF MINUTES TO MARCH MEETING American
Indian Warrior Association
Thanks to the AIWA President we crunched the sabrosito beef tacitos and guacamole with salsa feast. New members brought in: cookies, chips, water and Coke Zero. Also attending the meeting was Ozze Monge and Joaquin Sandoval. The business of
the American Indian Warriors Association was called to order at 7:02
pm by AIWA President William Buchanan. He reminded the membership of
the Chula Vista Veterans home. VA minority representative
Barbra Pepi brought in gifts and news from the VA hospital, La Jolla. Activities and events: Introduction to hand drum singing and a hands on drumming workshop was well received by all attending the meeting.
Close order drill will be determined at a future date at the Joaquin Sandoval AO. The Round Robin encourages our Veterans to bring out issues and emotions in a supportive, compassionate, environment. Our goal is that participation with other brothers and sisters in arms will further the healing process and bring us all back into the world of harmony and balance again. Joaquin S. shared his recent efforts dealing with his grandchildren. Ozzie Monge shared his activist experiences with Idle no more and the Keystone pipeline gatherings.
Respectfully
