AIWA Meeting Report:
Attending officers are: William Buchanan, Juan del Rio and Roy Cook. Yummy, Pizza and cookies and the meeting called to order at 7:10pm.
1. New Business: Larry Strickland informed the membership that he could not continue to serve as the Vice-President. By appointment: Juan del Rio accepted the position. Joaquin Sandoval is under a great deal of personal and family pressure. Therefore the responsibility of Sgt at Arms and event co-coordinator are reassigned. He will remain as AIWA Treasurer. 2. Juan is associating himself with a program to secure housing for Veterans and homeless Vets in the Oceanside area. 3. Ron Bonnin spoke to the issue of Agent Orange and PTSD and the efforts of the VFW. He also related episodes of his personal life and relatives on the Pine Ridge reservation. 4. Roy spoke to the traditional role of purification and the qualities of traditional healing when returning from the military and being reintroduced into the circle of life as defined by the Creator.

Warriors Association meets the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm
in the Linda Vista Bayside Community Center
