Joaquin- Veteran's memorial/Code Talker memorial. Multiple locations.

Ivan- Possible monument or memorial on old Code Talker training facility grounds at East Miramar. There is presently nothing there, but all agreed that a proposal should be made to Honor it.

Joaquin- Knows of access to a plot of land that may be put to use in order to grow food to feed the needy and diabetic patients.
Ivan- Presented the food garden idea as a unique way to get the Elders involved. Initiated a possible facilitator for the project, approaching the idea from a more traditional aspect.

Announcements/Discussion
Aaron Long- Welcome, Aaron. Ivan and Aaron shared with us the many skills and opportunities that Aaron brings to AIWA. Aaron anticipates on possibly leaving in June. Aaron has much experience in the community, educating the public on American Indian issues and advocating for Veterans affairs. Aaron is eager to assist AIWA as much as possible.

Juan- Homeless Housing (Rental Housing Counselor): Tiny homes idea would be perfect to help with the critical issue plaguing our local Veterans; >$500.00 to build, easy to set up, mobile single units, 12'x12' structures, 8'x12' internal space, 4' porches. Small structures are versatile as homes/or even clinics and can stand alone or be set up in groups of 10.

Members agreed to network amongst each other and outreach to other organizations and other potential members, focusing on mentorship and Veteran advocacy.
