The location of all AIWA meetings is at 3928 Illinois St. San Diego, CA. Many Nations in Recovery facility. Chet A. Hunt Community Center. AIWA is welcome to utilize the facilities in a respectful manner. (It is two blocks east of 30th St. and one-half block North of University Ave. on the west side of the street.)

CALL TO ORDER: Vice President Larry Smith called the meeting to order at approximately 7:00.p.m. Prayer was given by Lisa Magpie. Sign-In was filled out at the door.

OFFICERS REPORTS:

President: Warren Bader- Not present, resigned.

Vice President: Larry Smith- Present. Smith reported that Warren Bader has resigned and that new elections will be held.

Secretary: Joaquin Sandoval –Present. Minutes were read from previous meeting and approved as corrected.

Treasurer: Jerry Wilkerson – Not Present.

Sergeant at Arms: Storme Silvercloud – Not Present.

Historian: Roy Cook – Present.

GUEST SPEAKER: V.A. Patient Services Mark Wihzius came in as a guest of Ronnie Murphy. Wihzius gave a little background about himself; he is a Veteran of the Marine Corps. Wihzius discussed the services provided by the V.A. Hospital having had many years experience working around different departments. Wihzius welcomed questions by all.

OLD BUSINESS:

Election Results:

New President: Roy Cook. Vote was unanimous.

New Sergeant at Arms: Ida Ley May (temporary)

ROUNDTABLE: Everyone said that they were happy to be at the meeting.

NEW BUSINESS: Color Guard needed at Town & Country Hotel.
