The location of all AIWA meetings is at 3928 Illinois St. San Diego, CA. Many Nations in Recovery facility. Chet A. Hunt Community Center. AIWA is welcome to utilize the facilities in a respectful manner. (It is two blocks east of 30th St. and one-half block North of University Ave. on the west side of the street.)

CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order at 07:05 April 5, 2006 by President Ronnie Murphy. Prayer was given by Don.

OFFICERS REPORTS

President: Ronnie Murphy-Present

Ronnie speaks about Santa Ysabel funeral thanked all for standing out in the bad weather and AIWA received 180.00 donation for our efforts.

Vice President: Jerry Starnes-Present

Speaks about Santa Ysabel funeral.

Secretary: Gary Burrill-Present

Treasurer: George Hyde-Present.

Got the names for the signatories and took care of the bank situation!

Master at Arms: Ida Huhn-Present

Event Coordinator: Temp Stand in Joaquin L. Sandoval

OLD BUSINESS -
Ida/Old flag stands are with Storm need to try and get them back.

Chet Hunt Memorial fund/for placard. Location of placard and the status of fund are still in work.

13th and 14th May California Cultural days Balboa Park

AIWA started in 1989?

Grossmont college 45th commencement Color Guard/ June 1 Thursday 05:30 Joaquin 2nd on motion George 3rd on motion to participate! AIWA will attend with flags in hand!

ROUND ROBIN-

Ronnie- Santa Ysabel-felt good to help group with funeral ceremony plenty of rain and hail to go around.

Don- Nothing new going on/ knew half of people at funeral at Santa Ysabel reflected on old days on the reservation.

Gary – Entered photo contest with the Union Tribune and made the list to get interview for Supervisor promotion.

Larry- Store doing well 1st year anniversary!

Roy- Veterans Pow-Wow are we interested? Menefey Pow Wow

George- Going to New Mexico for Boy Scout Camp.

Jauquin- Option for Hoover/Warner Springs
