BRING YOUR APRIL COPY OF MINUTES TO MAY MEETING
The location of all AIWA meetings is at 3928 Illinois St. San Diego, CA. Many Nations in Recovery facility. Chet A. Hunt Community Center. AIWA is welcome to utilize the facilities in a respectful manner. (It is two blocks east of 30th St. and one-half block North of University Ave. on the west side of the street.)

Officer Reports:

President: Ivan Sam- Present
- Need names for VFW, event starts at noon.
- SDSU May 25th Mr. Chips Powwow is requesting AIWA as color. See Henry Mendibles. Time TBA.
- 18th April Sherman Indian school. Gourd dancing for who ever is interested.
- May 9,10 Balboa Park Powwow mothers day weekend.

Vice President: Larry S- Present

Secretary: Richard DeCrane- Present

Treasurer: Ida - Present

- Event, Ride, Strive and Roll Motorcycle Run, Cal-Diego PVA, VFW Lakeside Sunday 05 April 09 Show time will be at 1200. Info (858)450-1443.
- May 7th Thursday Camp Pendleton event culture days


New business: (M/S)
Ivan:
- New design for patch, new and improved. Silk screen.
- New AIWA Banner or orgization blanket design still in work.
- April 25th Parade 10 to 5. Have been asked to participate in exchange for using the Bayside room.
- Made a motion to use emergency funds for gas one way trip. All in favor motion passed. May 7th Thursday Camp Pendleton event culture days Gas money

Old business: (M/S)
Tax ID issue Joaquin:
- Work in progress.
- Need to travel to LA.
- Nothing new to report. Table till next meeting.
Cap on funds:
- A work in progress - Need guidelines and application.
- Tabled until we get more info from old members - What is the original goals. See Bylaws Roy has a copy.
- Joaquin will copy from Bylaws guidelines.
Plaque:
- In work, no word about when plaque will be complete.
- Reception will be planned when complete.

Upcoming events:
